Installation:

Installation is easy on most vehicles. If you are not sure that you can perform the installation, we strongly recommend Laser Jammer installations be performed by a properly equipped and experienced professional installer. Please feel free to Email Us for a recommended installer in your area.

RULE #1 when installing any LCM, "Stealth The Car, NOT the Install!" NEVER install sensors behind anything, including mesh grills. They must be completely unobstructed to function properly. If you cannot touch your sensors to clean them with a cloth and soapy water, they are NOT properly installed!

Divide the middle of the vehicle in two parts. The LASER INTERCEPTOR Laser Jammer has two units which are to be mounted on the front of the vehicle between the headlights. Install one unit in the first half and the other one in the second half as shown in the diagram below. The two laser jammer transceivers are mounted on the front of the vehicle, normally within the front grill, as close vertically and horizontally to the headlights as possible, 40cm to 70cm apart. The lens' receivers (bubbles) have to be oriented outwards, towards the headlights, and the fastening eyes have to be secured on the body of the vehicle. There must not be any obstacles in front of the lenses otherwise the device will not work optimally. If you are planning to install it on a motorcycle you should put one head on front and the other on rear. As natural sunlight emits a broad range of frequencies (including 904nm), the transceivers should preferably be shielded from sunlight as much as practical. Direct sunlight on the transceiver heads can sometimes interfere with their performance. The units must be mounted parallel and level to the road, not pointed to the sky nor down to the roadway and must look stright ahead, not cross-eyed or pointed out to the shoulders. The power switch and the CPU BOX/Speaker are installed inside the driver's cabin.
